The Question is Our Answer

magnetic attractionThe law of attraction is simple, opposite polarities attract to each other, much like the north and south poles of a magnet, or positive and negative poles within a directional flow of electricity.  Polarity is found all throughout nature, and creative life experiences are dependent upon it:

“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.” ~The Kybalion, the Fourth Hermetic Principle of Polarity

Usually one polarity is active while the other is passive, but it doesn’t always have to be this way.  An example of an active/passive polarity is questions and answers, where the question is active and the answer is passive.  Another is of a student and teacher relationship, where the student represents the active question, and the teacher represents the passive answer that attracts to the questioner.  When an individual actively polarizes into their question, they will easily and effortlessly attract the answers they require to them.

Polarizing into the answer as our primary means of being is unnatural, manipulative, predatory, and parasitic.  Our society teaches people to actively polarize into the answer, and then seek out to impose their answers with seductive marketing, or maybe force their answers upon others who have not asked the question in the first place.  There is also the manipulative tactic of indoctrination and mind control, to program certain questions into the subconscious minds of the people, so that they are susceptible to receiving their pre-packaged answers; this is how mass media, schools, governments, religions, and more, create trends and steer public opinion.

When a child is born into our world they are naturally curious, unfortunately though, this curiosity is quickly squashed through social engineering, family systems, and societal pressure.  They naturally arrive in our world polarized into the question, but their curiosity is intentionally shamed out of them.  Society tells us that we are successful, valuable, and therefore powerful, when we have found an answer that we can identify with, and then provide as a solution to the community as a whole.  For example, we go to school and excel in learning specific answers that we’re told are important, so that we can then specialize into a trade or profession.  We then offer our services as an answer to waiting employers, so that they might craft a solution to sell to potential customers, who are sold on the need for these answers by a sales team.  As you can see, we are not a question driven society, but rather an answer driven society.

Those who ask the most questions in a conscious fashion will by effect become answer providers within the Divine stream, but only as a resonant match to those who are actively asking the questions.  The teacher’s propensity to first be a good student, through actively asking questions, has brought them enough answers that they are now capable to pass them along within the Divine stream of life.  However, this doesn’t require the teacher’s active marketing or sales ecumen, but rather a passive allowing of the student to attract the answer they require from them as the perfect match at the perfect time — after all, “when the student is ready, the teacher will come.”

CAUSE & EFFECT

“Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.” ~The Kybalion, The Sixth Hermetic Principle of Cause and Effect

Within a polarity, the active principle is cause, while the passive principle is effect – lead with a well formulated question to easily attract its answer to yourself.  The answer then feeds back to the question, to fuel more active questions, and soon the pattern has become a self-sustaining torsion flow of questions and answers – with a limitless potential for expansion and growth.  Nothing better demonstrates the disparity between the time devoted between questions and answers than the brilliant quote attributed to Albert Einstein:

“If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.”

When I am actively polarized into my question, I am cause within my life, and staying within my personal boundaries, but when I attempt to make my answer the active polarity, because I’m emotionally attached to a particular answer, I must become cause over other external beings and circumstances in order to manifest my desires.  Being cause externally violates free will and the boundaries of others, by attempting to control the outcome (answer) to a desired effect, but being cause internally allows the answer to naturally attract to us without violating the personal space of those around us.  Law of Attraction teachers often tell people to visualize the answer, and pour all of their desire into the outcome they want, but this just reinforces the outside-in attempt to control the external universe.  It is when we pour our full desire into our natural curiosity (question), and then fully trust that the answer will attract to us, that we are able to utilize the Hermetic principles of ‘polarity’ and ‘cause & effect’ within our lives.

Stewart Swerdlow gave the following diagram in his book, “The True Reality of Sexuality”, and it brilliantly fits in with how we currently ask questions, and how we are meant to ask questions:

Stewart Swerdlow

When we ask a question from fear, we will attempt to control the answer, therefore we leave the polarity of the question to exert at least some of our will power into the answer, and then we will be required to manipulate and dominate our external world to ensure the answer manifests in a satisfactory way.  But when we ask a question from trust, where we stay actively polarized in our question, we become intimate with the answer which we attract to us, and the result will be a loving experience that fuels our trust.

LEAVING THE QUESTION
We forgo our personal power and ability to create when we leave our active polarity of the question, and we do this because of our fear and mistrust, which causes us to manipulate and dominate others.  Controlling the outcome by being in the answer is vampiric in nature, as we are competing and stealing resources from those we dominate; we left the safety of our own personal power to compete over the personal power of each other.  The mechanics of this energetic “fall” from the question are surprisingly simple, for when I ask the question, I am afraid I will not receive the answer, because I distrust that it will attract to me, therefore I attempt to “make it happen” by jumping into the solution, and answering my own question!

For example, I ask the following (and reasonable) question, “how can I have more money?”

My ego immediately chimes in with things such as “get a job, go to school to get a better job, gamble, start a business, invest in the stock market”, etc.

Our ego is the manifestation of us trying to control the outcome by attempting to immediately answer our question for us.  Our fear and mistrust are causing us to keep one foot in the question and another in the answer, which effectively neuters our ability to easily attract the answers we need to us.  It is our job to invest both of our feet into our question, but that requires overcoming our fear and mistrust, and our attachments to specific pre-programmed outcomes.

DUALITY
When we are actively polarized into the question, we will always feel satisfied with the answer, as it will be fill us with abundance, however, when we leave our question, from fear and distrust of the answer, we will create the dualities of lust/jealousy where there was once satisfaction, and greed/sacrifice where there was once abundance.  These new dualities are where we will attempt to polarize, where we find ourselves being on the predatory polarity of greed and lust, or on the victimized polarity of sacrifice and jealousy.  This dualistic polarity is known as a limited or negative feedback loop; and it is a much smaller (constricted) game within the bigger polarity game.

In order to leave this limited and rigged duality game, and graduate back into the bigger polarity game, we need to rediscover that the question is our answer.

    If the negative attracts positive.
Then isn’t being negative/vibrating negatively our way of attracting the positive?

    • You have confused/conflated service to self (STS) and service to others (STO) as two polarities, and they are not. STS is outside to inside (external locus of control), where the internal chaos attracts the external order, while STO is inside to outside (internal locus of control), where the external chaos attracts the internal order. In this way, STS and STO are not a polarity pair, but are instead a duality.
